I don't know if I'm the last person here to know about this, but how long has Marc Dacascos been hosting Iron Chef America for?? And how damn cheesy is that?

I've never seen the show, but I've at least known since "Code Name: The Cleaner" came out. He was in that (-as a 'bad guy'-) and one of my co-workers said he was on Iron Chef.
 I *think* we may have talked about it in the StH section. I could be wrong, though... 
( btw - it's Mark with a 'k'. Marc Gomes is spelled with a 'c'.  )

Haha! I think I saw that movie in theatres! BTW, I caught a little bit of an Iron Chef episode today and he was doing tricks with a couple fishnets (the chefs had to catch swordfish out of a tank). So cheesy!

*hehe*  That *does* sound kind of silly.
 I keep hoping to catch Double Dragon (1994) on TV sometime. I've caught part of DNA at least a couple times. (I *think* about the last half hour-ish? )
Apparently there's a series being filmed, called "The Legend of Bruce Lee".  Mark's listed as "Thai Boxer" in that. 
 I'm kind of bummed that he ends up playing bad guys a lot, lately. In Stargate: Atlantis, he starts out as nice guy, but...

lol yeah thats does sound just a tad corny...lol....but didnt know that he was even doin all these things havent seen him on tv in awhile....oh yeah silver unicorn i coaught double dragon like a week ago on encore....so if ya have it,u can probaly catch it again....i can search it for u to see if its cummin on any time soonand can let u know on here....

I appreciate the thought, but I don't have cable, so it won't do me any good. I'm sure it will be on basic TV sometime. I'm not in any hurry to see it.
I usually just 'stumble onto' stuff he's in. We download Stargate: Atlantis, so we can watch it without commercials, and watch several episodes in a row. It was a pleasant surprise to find him featured in an episode. I tend to be the one to notice him first, though, pointing him out to my bro.

Part of the reason I was attracted to the series was because of Mark. I like him best as Eric.  (I've got a thing for long hair and no chest hair on guys. ) Unfortunately, most of his roles these days have him with short hair.  *sigh* Oh, well.

Oh yeah it is a wink...and yeah its not workin on my computer so it looks like a half smile face....sry bout that...but yeah i like the no chest hair are very little...and y i have a thing with uys with long hair i ahve no clue...been like that since i was little!

Yep. I posted about it somewhere... Can't recall where offhand, though. I'm glad he's getting work, but... *sigh* And of course, he doesn't have to go far from home, either, since he already lives in Hawaii.
I don't watch the show, though.  I watched *one* episode, because they did a tiny crossover with NCIS: LA. (It was a LAME crossover. Only one character, and she was only on for maybe 5 minutes. )

Ah. Yeah, I had forgotten about that.
I thought he lived in L.A. now. I know that his parents still live in Hawaii, and that he spends a lot of time there, but I didn't realize that Mark still lived in Hawaii. He isn't in very many episodes - he's more of a recurring character.
I saw the NCIS LA crossover - it was pretty lame. I was hoping that Sam and G. would be the ones working a case in Honolulu with the 5-0 crew, but it did make sense that it was Kensi that went because she has the M.I. contacts that Joe needed. They could've given her a bigger part though.
